Working a Walk to Emmaus
“I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”
–Jesus’ words in John 13: 15-17

You’ve experienced God’s blessing as a pilgrim on the Walk to Emmaus. You might be surprised to find out that working on an Emmaus Walk brings an even greater blessing; both to those served and to the servant. You can choose to continue your involvement with Heart of Georgia Emmaus by serving on an upcoming Walk. Working on Emmaus teams is a course of progressive servanthood. You begin in the kitchen, as an angel, a musician, or a member of the worship team. After working a few walks, you may wish return to the conference room.
If you’d like to get started, please fill out the form below.

When you submit your application, we will add your name to a database of members of the Emmaus Community who are willing to work on an upcoming Walk to Emmaus. This list will be distributed to team leaders in the season prior to each cycle of walks. You may receive more than one request to work on a team, depending upon the answers you have provided in the form. Please give prayerful consideration to your commitment to serve and be prepared to answer the team leader when they call.

May Christ bless you richly in your service to Him!
